Detect Every Vehicle.
Transact with Confidence.
SIMPL-Tolling uses LiDAR and advanced perception software to independently detect and classify every vehicle. SIMPL integrates to your Back Office System, catching revenue leakage before it adds up
Capture precise, object-level transaction data across every lane and reduce revenue leakage.
1. Detect
Four LiDAR sensors on the gantry, fused on one Seyond EP1 edge box, capture precise 3D data of every vehicle in every lane, day or night.2. Measure
AI perception software classifies each vehicle using the FHWA 13-class system and measures its length, height, axle counts, speed and lane position.3. Trigger
Every crossing becomes a timestamped transaction record with its own unique ID and SIMPL-Tolling triggers your toll cameras.
4. Send
The vehicle's transaction data goes straight to your BOS to catch orphan transactions, ghost transactions and classification discrepancies before they affect revenue.

Proven in the field: 99.99+% accuracy
SIMPL-Tolling was tested in a 110-day live deployment at a North American all-electronic tolling facility, checking more than 1.38 million transactions against independent ground truth. By the end of the evaluation, it measured vehicle class, length and height with 100% accuracy and cut ghost transactions to zero.

Built for Revenue Assurance
99.99%+ Accurate
SIMPL-Tolling proved a 99.99%+ accuracy rate at 13 FHWA classifications during independent validation testing. Every vehicle captured and classified correctly, so every transaction is charged at the right rate
BOS Integration
SIMPL-Tolling provides object-level data accross every lane (vehicle class, axle count, speed and dimensions) directly to your BOS through standard interfaces.
24/7 Reliability
LiDAR technology functions seamlessly in all weather and lighting conditions, using its own light source to perform effectively in rain, fog and snow.
Does SIMPL-Tolling replace our roadside system or BOS?
No. SIMPL-Tolling runs alongside your existing roadside equipment and integrates with your Back Office System. It doesn't collect tolls or change how transactions are processed.
How does SIMPL connect to our Back Office System?
SIMPL connects through standard interfaces. Each vehicle crossing becomes a transaction record with a unique ID, timestamp, lane ID, vehicle class, axle counts, speed, and dimensions. These records are matched with your BOS to flag missed or mismatched transactions.
How does it perform in rain and poor weather?
SIMPL is built to work in all weather and lighting conditions, day or night. In its 110-day independent validation, which included 26 rain days, it finished with 100% accuracy in vehicle classification, length and height against independent ground truth.
